We are a sister photography duo based in New York's Capital District.

As Photographers with a huge love for family, one of the best parts of this career is being able to capture so many aspects of someones life such as engagement through to that same couples child's first birthday. There is something truly magical in being able to capture these beautiful moments in your lives that you can hold on to forever.

Carly

I got my very first camera as a Christmas gift when I was eight years old, and my life was forever changed from that day. It started my love for photography and gave me a way to express myself as an artist and a documenter. My first love for photography was in landscape photography. It wasn't until my sister took a photograph class in college where I molded for her projects that I started to develop a desirer to capture more than just landscape photography. From there I started dabbling in street photography and self-portraits. Then in 2018 my sister and I decided to become Sorella Studios & Photography. I continue to grow my love for photography with every session I photograph.

Hannah

For as long as I can remember my heart has been drawn to the art world. My entire childhood was spent drawing, sculpting and find ways to express myself through my art. However it wasn't until I went to school for my degree in fine arts that I found my love for photography. I not only feel in love with the process of shooting photography in both digital and film, but fell in love with both the documentary nature and the creative side of capturing actual moments in time. Whether they be documenting someones special moments in life or forever preserving an artist moment brought to life. I feel so blessed that with this career I can nurture not only my artist side but the side of me that longs for deep meaningful connections.
